    It seems suitable for your job. The problem is that it does not come with the two A76 LR44 batteries it needs.

    It works very well, it doesn’t come with batteries which are two LR44. Make sure you have them and opening the battery compartment feels like it might break. Otherwise, the TDS meter works well, but the temperature meter gives degrees too much. The cardboard box it came in was crushed and there are no instructions, but the meter worked well.

    The tester works; I checked it with water from several sources and indeed it shows differences as expected. The water without filtration from my tap has 130 units, after filtering with my reverse osmosis filter, the tester shows only 6 units.
