It works as described, but like any repeater it’s going to slow down your devices internet speed when you connect to it. However, i can now get wifi in spaces of my house which i couldn’t get a good connection before (i have a fairly large home and need reliable wifi in basement, first floor, and second floor) if you want a faster connection it may be best to run a cat5 cable through your walls and make a second connection.
