The joysticks of this model operate with Batteries. I thought they were rechargeable, but no. Still, it fulfills what it offers, many games, and is easy to use.

Exactly as described. Box came without any damage, easy set up (as it should be). I haven’t tried any 3d games on it yet as i’m more of snes/sega fan so can’t speak to how well it handles those. Controllers are smooth. Did not need to contact store for anything so defaulting a 5 star review.

I bought 4 gamesticks to test them out: m8, m15, x2 (this one), and x9. This one is second best of the bunch. The stock os (says emuelec 4.5, but i think it is 3.9) is passable. Game collection is stellar – one of the best i’ve seen on either a tv or handheld emulation console – honestly, if you don’t already have your own game collection, the one that comes with this set is worth the money alone. I ended up flashing a newer version of emuelec on the device, because the stock system was somewhat locked down and had problems with the system freezing. On both stock and my custom os builds the stick tends to overheat and locks up. I opened it up and added an aluminum plate for better thermal dissipation – working better now. It does have the amlogic s905l chip, which is a bit older, but gives adequate performance. Happy with my purchase. Oh, i’m docking a star because tye controllers are abysmal
