I bought it because I needed optical input and RCA output. I might not use it later because I don’t need it anymore.

It works wonderfully. You can connect the USB directly to the TV and it provides enough power.

It works. The body is metal. I output sound from the Ugoos set-top box via optical. I don’t know what the problem is, but very often a message pops up at the top of the screen saying that the audio sampling rate has changed from 48kHz to 44.1kHz and vice versa. Plus there are HUGE problems with the equalizer on the console; it constantly resets its settings. I have no complaints about the product or the store. I am writing this simply so that people who are planning to output sound via SPDIF think twice because there are no advantages and there are inconveniences.
