    I use this sensor in my mailbox (with Home Assistant and ZHA). Sometimes alarms go off without any movement on the mailbox, but that’s more the exception. However, I had to secure it in the flap because if the sensor is only sitting on the side wall of the mailbox, the vibration isn’t enough. I will exchange it for a light sensor again.

    It’s a good device that works perfectly. But unfortunately, my plan didn’t work out. I wanted to use the sensor as a mailbox detector. Unfortunately, the signal strength doesn’t reach my apartment.
